Can Tronca was born to provide a service to the mallorcan community at the end of the 1960s. The fidelity we have maintained to our roots, essence and identity is what has made us continue to offer our service 50 years later.
Our menu was born accidentally when María Bauzá and Toni Font started this business so that Sant Joan families and also families of the surroundings villages could celebrate the most important moments of their lives. Today, we maintain the same menu and we love that people come expressly to eat what we have always offered: real mallorcan food prepared with lots of love and affection.

our roots
From the passion for people and its customs that Maria Bauzá and Toni Font had, Can Tronca restaurant was born in 1970, a name that they kept from the still current café Can Tronca, also located in the town of Sant Joan. Antonia Font, daughter of the couple and current owner of the business, grew up there.
At the end of the 60s and the beginning of the 70s, when Can Troncas cafè became too small to celebrate weddings and events, María and Toni decided to open a restaurant that would maintain the Mallorcan tradition while creating a familiar and innovative cooking style for that time.
